Attending TrendSet, first Munich trade show after the lockdown

Finally back: trade shows in Bavaria. succeet’s Simone Waller-Klink and Heinrich Fischer attended TrendSet on 10 July, international trade show for interiors, inspiration and lifestyle – first Munich pilot event after the lockdown and guest event of Messe München.
 
Simone's and Heinrich's impressions: good throughout! Here’s their take.
 
  • The good mood was striking – both among exhibitors and visitors to the order fair: "Whoever we spoke to – everyone was happy that there are finally trade shows again."
     
  • Access for visitors was uncomplicated. Vaccinated, tested or recovered people were admitted only: "We had the proofs on our mobile phones – just had them ready with the admission ticket, done."
     
  • Amazing: there were hardly any restrictions for the stands in the halls. "It actually felt the way it had always felt. And the exhibitors we spoke to were happy."
 
After this dive into the new trade show reality, we are looking forward to our Munich event succeet21 all the more. You too?

And how does the organiser of TrendSet sum up the event? 
 
Here is a very brief excerpt from their recent press release and some pictures:
 
TrendSet Summer 2021: Successful pilot exhibition 2021 in Munich, Germany.
 
  • Sensational mood. High level of satisfaction.
  • 16,633 trade visitors. Visitor increase of nearly 30% compared to 2020.
  • Enthusiastic exhibitors and good sales figures.
 
TrendSet showed how trade fairs held in person can be conducted safely and successfully in the current pandemic situation. Subsequent trade fairs throughout Germany will also benefit from the findings during trade fair and exhibition operations in the second half of 2021.
 
 
 
 
 
Air hygiene at the MOC Munich, venue of succeet21
 
 
Fresh air only
 
 
In response to our request at Messe München GmbH, we received the following information about the venue of our event, MOC Munich:
 
  • All exhibition halls at MOC are operated exclusively with fresh air. They do not run in recirculation mode. The same volume of air as is blown in is extracted and led out of the hall. So there is a permanent supply of fresh air.
     
  • The fresh air in the hall is completely replaced there once an hour.
