Where is the MR industry headed? |

|
It's best to put this session in your calendar right away: Thursday, April 15, 17:40 – 18:30. "Where are the major market research agencies heading?" This is the topic of the panel discussion at the end of day 2 of the virtual trade show.
The industry and sales figures for market research have shown that the reorganization of the big houses (GfK, Nielsen, Kantar, Ipsos) is in full swing. The industry is reshuffling. But where is market research headed? Where do the major German market research agencies see the fields of activity of the future?
A panel discussion with Andreas Pohle (Kantar), Ralf Ganzenmüller (Ipsos) and Hartmut Scheffler, presented by Holger Geißler (marktforschung.de) – pictured from left. The session will be held in German.
The session will be followed by a get-together in the succeet21 Lounge (powered by Frenus) to wrap up the day. We are looking forward to seeing you!

“20 years of INNOFACT – and market research is still becoming more digital! When INNOFACT was founded exactly 20 years ago, online market research was an absolute innovation: this method considerably shortened project lead times and saved the commissioning companies massive costs. INNOFACT helped revolutionising the market. Today it is standard. But digitalisation is far from over, as dashboards, automated coding and data analytics show. And what began in quantitative research two decades ago is now being consistently continued in qualitative research, for example with online focus groups. For INNOFACT, it is therefore in its DNA to continue to invest in digitalisation – and to help shape the market. History repeats itself.“
Christian Thunig, Managing Partner INNOFACT

Touching consumers’ minds |

“COVID-19 has made our company shut down our neuro labs. It’s paralyzed the usage of central location techniques and the opportunity to answer many important research questions that we were receiving on a daily basis. However, yet again, we’ve learned just how powerful online surveys can be. Fortunately we’ve still been able to reveal what is truly important for consumers, by reaching their emotions from a different angle. In the face of locking down our NEURO metrics, the Response Time Technique has become a prominent and necessary tool. We would like to convey to you that research shifted to the online world, can still touch consumer’s unconscious minds.”
Anna Szydło, Research Director, and Dawid Adamczyk, R&D Project Manager, Neurohm

Becoming a one-stop shop for all research needs |

“Covid-19 is an accelerator of digitalization in qualitative research, and probably a hot topic at the moment. Classic face-to-face approaches are being replaced by digital methods. Facilities are increasingly being substituted by online tools. We are actively shaping this change. We are not only investing in panels and processes, but also increasingly in innovative software solutions (SaaS). Our goal is to become a one-stop shop for all our research needs, qualitative and quantitative, online and offline, local and international.”

“The COVID pandemic has quickly accelerated the remote working trend. Not only office staff was forced to work from home, but also all 800+ interviewers needed to be moved from a callcenter environment to a remote working model. Luckily GDCC had not only the technical infrastructure lined up, but was also ahead of the curve for remote recruiting and –training of new staff and interviewers. As a result we not only were able to make a full switch within a 4 week timeframe, but longer term are now able to expand our coverage drastically compared to the traditional callcenter models where employees are typically hired who live near existing office/callcenter locations.”
Sanne Krom, Managing Partner, GDCC
